After going in the wrong direction and getting involved in a life of crime, drugs, and alcohol, Pastor Jake found Jesus at 16. He joined a Christian and Missionary Alliance church in his hometown of Buffalo, NY and got involved in lay ministry.

He met Kim when they were 17 and she eventually became his beautiful bride. Kim and Jake gave birth to their only child, Ellie Grace, in August of 2013.

While running a successful floor-covering business, Pastor Jake heard and responded to the call for full-time pastoral ministry in 2018. He got an associate’s degree in Biblical Studies from Houghton College while serving at a Church plant and providing Pulpit supply all over New York State.

In January 2020 Pastor Jake and his family packed up and moved to Kingston NY to pastor the Kingston Alliance Church. All 3 of them immediately fell in love with the Kingston and Hudson Valley area and haven’t looked back. Pastor Jake is passionate about preaching the Word of God and helping people meet and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. He loves people, churched and unchurched, and is excited about reaching Kingston and surrounding areas with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
