The Apostle Paul seeks to remind the church in Corinth, and us, of what is first importance. That is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Corinthians failed to remind themselves of the Gospel and were being led astray from the life that the Gospel commands and enables. This same thing happens to us when we fail to remind ourselves daily of the gospel. Conversely, is we do preach the Gospel to ourselves daily, it leads to ongoing life and personality change and allows us to live in the power that is ours in Christ Jesus!
