On the surface this commandment seems straight forward. And it is, but there is also more to it. As all the Commandments do, it reveals something about God and this Commandment reveals Hi s very heart. It is the command to put the love He has for us on display and to holdfast to it forever, as He does. Perhaps no commandment is under more attack than this one and it is easy to see why. The amount of destruction that comes from breaking this law is catastrophic. But the results of following it are advantageous!!!
